In announcing the release of the Xbox 360 version yesterday, Ubisoft revealed that Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas has been delayed until January 30th for both PlayStation 3 and PSP.
No reason was given for the delay, although one can easily speculate that (on PS3 anyway) its the latest casualty of Sony's sluggishness in revealing online information to developers. For example, while Activision had the luxury of releasing Tony Hawk's Project 8 at launch sans online play, the Rainbow Six series has grown to rely far more on online play to complete its package and the loss of it (or to have it poorly implemented) would be huge.
